المومني: الحكومة لا تتغوّل على "أموال الضمان"

أكد وزير الاتصال الحكومي، الناطق باسم الحكومة محمد المومني، أن الحكومة لا تتغول على أموال صندوق استثمار أموال الضمان الاجتماعي، مشدداً على أن إدارة الصندوق تتم وفق معايير مهنية واستقلالية واضحة.

وأوضح المومني، خلال مؤتمر صحفي عقد الأربعاء على هامش جلسة مجلس الوزراء التي عقدت في العاصمة عمان، أن السندات الحكومية تُعد من أفضل استثمارات صندوق الضمان الاجتماعي، لكونها "استثماراً آمناً ومجزياً".

وأشار إلى أن البنوك التجارية "تتسابق للاكتتاب في هذه السندات لما توفره من عائد مضمون ومخاطر منخفضة".

وأضاف أن الحكومة ستقدّم إلى البرلمان مشروع قانون الضمان الاجتماعي الجديد، والذي تسعى من خلاله إلى تحقيق مزيد من الاستقلالية للمؤسسة، "بما يشبه نموذج البنك المركزي في الحوكمة والإدارة".
