ندّدت السعودية الثلاثاء بارتكاب قوات الدعم السريع "انتهاكات إنسانية جسيمة" خلال هجومها على مدينة الفاشر في غرب السودان.

وأعربت وزارة الخارجية في بيان أوردته وكالة الأنباء السعودية (واس) عن "بالغ قلق المملكة العربية السعودية واستنكارها للانتهاكات الإنسانية الجسيمة التي جرت خلال الهجمات الأخيرة لقوات الدعم السريع على مدينة الفاشر"، مشددة على "ضرورة قيام قوات الدعم السريع بواجبها في حماية المدنيين، وضمان تأمين وصول المساعدات الإنسانية".

وسبق للسعودية أن رعت جولات تفاوض عدة في مدينة جدة فشلت في دفع الطرفين المتحاربين بالسودان للتوصل إلى اتفاق وقف إطلاق نار دائم.
