وجاءت المباراة مثيرة وحماسية وسط حضور جماهيري كبير من أنصار الفريقين، وتمكن الوحدات من حسم المواجهة لصالحه بعد أداء قوي في الدقائق الأخيرة، ليعوّض خسارته أمام الفيصلي في مرحلة الذهاب.

وفي مباراة أخرى، فاز فريق المقاولين على فريق الأمير حمزة بنتيجة (100–47)، مواصلًا عروضه القوية في البطولة.
