في جلسة مغلقة للجنة الخارجية والأمن في الكنيست الإسرائيلي، كشفت مصادر أمنية رفيعة المستوى أن "الافتراض المبدئي" لدى المؤسسة الأمنية الإسرائيلية هو أن حماس لن تتخلى عن سلاحها.

وبحسب ما أفادت به المصادر، فإن هذا التقييم يعكس شكوكا عميقة داخل الأجهزة الأمنية الإسرائيلية حول الاستمرار في الاتفاق، خصوصا في ما يتعلق بنزع السلاح.
