أحبطت المنطقة العسكرية الشرقية فجر اليوم السبت على واجهتها وضمن منطقة مسؤوليتها محاولة تهريب كمية من المواد المخدرة محملة بواسطة بالونات موجهة بأجهزة بدائية الصنع، اذ جرى التعامل معها واسقاطها وحمولتها داخل الأراضي الأردنية بعد رصدها من قبل قوات حرس الحدود بالتنسيق مع الأجهزة الأمنية وإدارة مكافحة المخدرات وتم تحويل المضبوطات إلى الجهات المختصة لاتخاذ الإجراءات اللازمة.
