أعلنت وزارة الخارجية الأميركية، الجمعة، عن تعيين بلوماسي السفير الحالي لدى اليمن ستيفن فاجين قائدا مدنيا لمركز جديد معني بتنفيذ اتفاق السلام في غزة وإدخال المساعدات الإنسانية إلى القطاع.

جاء هذا الإعلان بعد زيارة وزير الخارجية ماركو روبيو لمركز التنسيق المدني العسكري جنوبي الأراضي المحتلة، وتعهده بانضمام المزيد من الدبلوماسيين الأميركيين إلى نحو 200 جندي أميركي هناك.
