مقتل 20 شخصا إثر اندلاع حريق في حافلة بولاية أندرا براديش الهندية

أفاد مسؤولون اليوم الجمعة، بمقتل 20 شخصا على الأقل وإصابة عدد آخر إثر نشوب حريق في حافلة خاصة كانت تقلهم بعد اصطدامها بدراجة نارية في ولاية أندرا براديش جنوبي الهند، وفق ما نقلت وكالة (شينخوا).

وحسب الشرطة الهندية، اندلعت النيران في الحافلة بعد الاصطدام قرب قرية تشينا تيكور في منطقة كورنول بينما كانت تقل 42 راكبا في طريقها من حيدر أباد إلى بنغالور.

وأفادت التقارير، بأن معظم الركاب كانوا نائمين عندما وقع الحادث.

وتوجه السكان المحليون إلى الموقع وحاولوا إنقاذ المصابين قبل وصول فرق الإطفاء والشرطة، وتم نقل المصابين إلى مستشفى كورنول الحكومي. ويخشى أن يرتفع عدد الضحايا، فيما تم فتح تحقيق في الحادث.
