أظهرت وثيقة أن الولايات المتحدة تدرس مقترحا لإيصال مساعدات إنسانية إلى غزة، من شأنه أن يحل محل مؤسسة غزة الإنسانية.

وقال مسؤول أميركي وآخر يعمل في مجال الإغاثة الإنسانية مطلعان على الخطة إن هذا المقترح هو واحد من مفاهيم عدة قيد الدراسة، في إطار سعي واشنطن لتسهيل زيادة إيصال المساعدات إلى القطاع الفلسطيني بعد عامين من الحرب.

وما زال وقف إطلاق النار الهش بين إسرائيل وحركة حماس ساريا منذ 13 يوما. وبموجب هذا الاتفاق، يدخل المزيد من المساعدات إلى غزة، حيث حذر مرصد عالمي للجوع في آب من تفشي المجاعة.
