فانس: سياسة ترامب هي عدم ضم إسرائيل للضفة الغربية

قال نائب الرئيس الأميركي جاي دي فانس، الخميس، إنّ إسرائيل لن تضم الضفة الغربية وتصويت الكنيست بشأن ضمّها يعد أمرا رمزيا.

وأضاف فانس، أن سياسة الرئيس دونالد ترامب لا تزال تتمثل في عدم ضم إسرائيل للضفة الغربية.

وأشار للصحفيين في تل أبيب: "كان التصويت في الكنيست على ضم الضفة الغربية غريبا. لو كان مناورة سياسية، فقد كانت مناورة سياسية غبية، وقد أزعجني ذلك. لن نسمح لإسرائيل بضم الضفة الغربية، ولم نكن راضين عن هذا التصويت".

وصرح فانس في تل أبيب بأنه "يشعر بارتياح كبير" إزاء وقف إطلاق النار في غزة، وذلك بعد محادثاته مع رئيس الوزراء الإسرائيلي بنيامين نتنياهو.
