أعلنت وكالة غوث وتشغيل اللاجئين الفلسطينيين "الأونروا" أن أكثر من 61 مليون طن من الأنقاض تغطي مناطق واسعة من قطاع غزة، مشيرةً إلى أن أحياءً بأكملها مُحيت من الوجود جراء الدمار المستمر.

وأكدت الوكالة أن عائلات بأكملها ما زالت تبحث بين الركام عن الماء والمأوى، في ظل القيود المفروضة على دخول المساعدات الإنسانية.

شددت الأونروا على أن فرقها تواصل تقديم المساعدات المنقذة للحياة للسكان المتضررين ورغم استمرار الحظر، مؤكدة التزامها بمواصلة عملها الإنساني في القطاع رغم الظروف الصعبة.
