قال وزير الخارجية الأمريكي ماركو روبيو، الخميس، إن الولايات المتحدة لا تزال ترغب في عقد لقاء مع روسيا، وذلك بعد أن ألغى الرئيس الأمريكي دونالد ترامب اجتماعه المقرر مع نظيره الروسي فلاديمير بوتين في بودابست.

وأوضح روبيو في تصريح للصحفيين، ردًا على سؤال حول العقوبات الجديدة المفروضة على روسيا وأسباب تغيير ترامب موقفه من القمة، قائلاً: "ما زلنا نرغب في الاجتماع مع الروس".
