قال مكتب رئيس الوزراء الإسرائيلي بنيامين نتنياهو، مساء الثلاثاء، إن رئيس الحكومة وفريقه المختص التقوا برئيس المخابرات المصرية حسن رشاد. وأضاف مكتب نتنياهو في منشور عبر حسابه الرسمي على منصة "إكس"، أن من بين القضايا التي ناقشها اللقاء تعزيز الخطة التي اقترحها الرئيس الأمريكي دونالد ترامب بشأن غزة، والعلاقات الإسرائيلية - المصرية، وتعزيز السلام بين تل أبيب والقاهرة وقضايا إقليمية أخرى.

وكان رئيس المخابرات العامة المصرية اللواء حسن محمود رشاد، وصل إلى إسرائيل في وقت سابق الثلاثاء.
