قال الرئيس الأميركي دونالد ترامب، عبر منصته "تروث سوشيال": إن عدداً من حلفاء الولايات المتحدة أبلغوه عن استعدادهم لدخول غزة بقوة عسكرية مكثفة وفرض السيطرة على حركة حماس، إذا استمرت الأخيرة في "سلوكها السيّئ" و"انتهاك الاتفاق" مع واشنطن.

وأوضح ترامب أنه أبلغ هذه الدول، إلى جانب إسرائيل، بأن "الوقت لم يحن بعد"، مشيراً إلى أن هناك أملاً بأن تغير حماس سلوكها، محذراً في الوقت ذاته من أن "نهاية حماس ستكون سريعة وعنيفة ووحشية" إذا لم تتصرف "على النحو الصحيح".
