أعلنت القوات المسلحة عن إحباط محاولة تهريب مواد مخدرة بواسطة طائرة مسيّرة على الواجهة الغربية المنطقة العسكرية الجنوبية.

وجرى إسقاط الطائرة داخل الأراضي الأردنية بعد تطبيق قواعد الاشتباك التنسيق بين قوات حرس الحدود والأجهزة الأمنية وإدارة مكافحة المخدرات، ما أدى إلى إحباط العملية وتحويل المضبوطات إلى الجهات المختصة لاستكمال الإجراءات القانونية.
