قال الرئيس الأميركي دونالد ترامب الأحد إن وقف إطلاق النار بين الدولة العبرية وحركة حماس ما زال قائما، وذلك بعدما شنّت إسرائيل عشرات الغارات على أهداف لحماس متهمة إياها بمهاجمة قواتها.

وقال ترامب لصحافيين في الطائرة الرئاسية عندما سئل عما إذا كان وقف إطلاق النار ما زال قائما "نعم إنه كذلك" مشيرا إلى أن قيادة حماس لم تكن متورطة في أي خروق وألقى باللوم على "بعض المتمردين داخل الحركة".

وأضاف "لكن على أي حال، سيتم التعامل مع الأمر كما يجب. سيتم التعامل معه بحزم، لكن كما يجب".
