زار رئيس الوزراء جعفر حسان، الأحد، منطقة الأزرق، ووجه لتطوير المخطط الشمولي للمنطقة والإسراع في تنفيذه.

كما وجه حسان بضرورة ربط المواقع السياحية والبيئية بالمحمية المائية ومحمية الشومري؛ بما يسهم في إعادة وضع الأزرق على الخارطة السياحية، خصوصاً بعد أن أعلنت منظمة الأمم المتحدة للسياحة عن اختيار قرية الأزرق الشمالي ضمن أفضل القرى السياحية في العالم لعام 2025.
