أكد الرئيس الأميركي دونالد ترامب لفولوديمير زيلينسكي خلال اجتماع معه في البيت الأبيض الجمعة إن الوقت حان لإبرام اتفاق مع روسيا لإنهاء الحرب في أوكرانيا، مضيفا أن الجانبين يجب أن "يعلنا النصر" ويوقفا إراقة الدماء.

وقال ترامب على منصته تروث سوشل إن اجتماعه مع زيلينسكي كان "مثيرا للاهتمام ووديا للغاية، لكنني قلت له، كما اقترحت على الرئيس (الروسي فلاديمير) بوتين، أن الوقت حان لوقف القتل، وإبرام اتفاق!".
