قال الرئيس الأميركي دونالد ترمب، اليوم الجمعة خلال استقبال نظيره الأوكراني فولوديمير زيلينسكي في البيت الأبيض، إن الرئيس الروسي فلاديمير بوتين يريد إنهاء الحرب في أوكرانيا.

وأكد ترمب على ضرورة عقد قمة ثلاثية بينه وبين الرئيسين الروسي والأوكراني.

بدوره، قال زيلينسكي إن ترمب أصبح لديه الآن الزخم لوقف الصراع بين روسيا وأوكرانيا بعد التوصل لوقف لإطلاق النار في قطاع غزة.

ووصل زيلينسكي إلى البيت الأبيض، في وقت سابق اليوم، في زيارة تتسم بأهمية كبيرة، تأتي بعد يوم من إعلان ترمب المفاجئ عن قمة جديدة مع الرئيس الروسي فلاديمير بوتين.
