اتفقت باكستان وأفغانستان، الجمعة، على تمديد وقف إطلاق النار بينهما إلى حين اختتام المحادثات المقرّرة في الدوحة، وفقًا لما نقلته وكالة "رويترز" عن ثلاثة مسؤولين أمنيين باكستانيين ومصدر في حركة طالبان الأفغانية.

وقالت المصادر، التي فضّلت عدم الكشف عن هويتها، إن وفدًا باكستانيًا وصل بالفعل إلى الدوحة، فيما يُتوقّع أن يصل الوفد الأفغاني إلى العاصمة القطرية يوم السبت.

وكان وقف إطلاق نار مؤقت بين البلدين قد دخل حيز التنفيذ الأربعاء، منهياً أيامًا من القتال العنيف الذي أسفر عن مقتل العشرات وإصابة المئات.
