أدى عشرات الآلاف صلاة الجمعة في المسجد الأقصى المبارك-الحرم القدسي الشريف، حيث توافدوا إليه منذ ساعات الصباح في ظل الإجراءات العسكرية المشددة التي تفرضها سلطات الاحتلال الإسرائيلي على الوصول إلى المسجد.

وأفادت وكالة الأنباء الفلسطينية (وفا)، بأن قوات الاحتلال شددت الخناق في البلدة القديمة من القدس، وقرب بابي الأسباط والعامود، ونصبت عددا من الحواجز، وأوقفت الشبان، ودققت في بطاقاتهم الشخصية، واعتدت على بعضهم ومنعت آخرين من دخول المسجد.
