تراجع منتخب النشامى لكرة القدم أربعة مراكز في التصنيف الدولي الصادر عن الاتحاد الدولي لكرة القدم (الفيفا)، ليحتل المركز 66 عالميا، بعد أن كان في المركز 62 في التصنيف السابق.

وحلّ منتخب النشامى خلف منتخب مقدونيا الشمالية وقبل منتخب الإمارات العربية المتحدة.

يشار إلى أن منتخب النشامى حسم تأهله إلى نهائيات كأس العالم 2026 لأول مرة في تاريخه، ليصبح بذلك أول منتخب عربي يضمن مقعده في المونديال.
