مصرع 10 أشخاص بحريق في ناقلة نفط قيد التصليح في إندونيسيا

قُتل 10 أشخاص وأصيب 21 آخرون بجروح في غرب أندونيسيا فجر الأربعاء من جرّاء حريق اندلع في ناقلة نفط كانت تخضع للتصليح، بحسب ما أعلنت الشرطة.

وقال قائد الشرطة زينال أريفين إنّ ألسنة اللهب شوهدت في عنبر السفينة "إم تي فيدرال 2" قرابة الساعة 4:30 من فجر الأربعاء (21,30 ت غ الثلاثاء)، مشيرا إلى أنّ إخماد الحريق استغرق حوالى ساعة.

وأضاف أنّ الحريق اندلع بينما كانت الناقلة تخضع لعملية تصليح في حوض بناء السفن في باتام، الجزيرة القريبة من سنغافورة.

وتابع "بدأنا تحقيقا لتحديد سبب الحريق".

وأوضح أنّ حريقا سابقا اندلع في السفينة نفسها في حزيران/يونيو وأسفر يومها عن مقتل أربعة أشخاص، مشيرا إلى أنّ التحقيق كشف أنّ الحادث نجم من شرارات في عنبر السفينة الذي لم يكن قد أُفرغ بالكامل من الوقود.
