هدّد وزير الأمن القومي الإسرائيلي اليميني المتطرف إيتمار بن غفير الثلاثاء، بقطع إمدادات المساعدات عن غزة إذا لم تُعد حماس رفات الجنود من القطاع.

في الأثناء، أكد رئيس الحكومة بنيامين نتانياهو أنّ من المتوقع ورود أخبار بشأن بقية الرهائن القتلى "في غضون ساعات".

وقال بن غفير في منشور على تطبيق تلغرام، "أدعو رئيس الحكومة إلى توجيه إنذار واضح لحماس: إذا لم تعيدوا على الفور جميع جثث جنودنا الذين سقطوا واستمرّيتم في المماطلة، سنوقف على الفور جميع إمدادات المساعدات التي تدخل إلى قطاع غزة".
