أعلن الرئيس الأميركي دونالد ترامب في قمة شرم الشيخ حول غزة الاثنين أنه بإعلان انتهاء الحرب في قطاع غزة تم تحقيق "سلام في الشرق الأوسط".

وقال ترامب بعد توقيعه مع قادة مصر وتركيا وقطر وثيقة لضمان إنهاء الحرب بين إسرائيل وحركة حماس "لقد حققنا معا ما كان يقول الجميع إنه مستحيل. أخيرا، أصبح لدينا سلام في الشرق الأوسط".
