أصدرت وكالة الأرصاد الجوية الإسبانية الاثنين إنذارا أحمر من هطول أمطار غزيرة على ساحل فالنسيا (شرق)، بعد عام من فيضانات مميتة شهدتها المنطقة.

وكتبت الوكالة على إكس "إنذار أحمر من هطول أمطار غزيرة على الساحل الجنوبي لفالنسيا. يسري حتى الساعة 23,59 (...) خطر هائل. قد تتشكل فيضانات وسيول مفاجئة. اتبعوا توصيات الحماية المدنية".

تسببت الأمطار الغزيرة في إغلاق العديد من الطرق الرئيسية والسكك الحديد في جنوب كاتالونيا لفترة وجيزة، بالإضافة إلى مؤسسات جامعية، بحسب السلطات.

ولا تزال اسبانيا تعاني آثار الفيضانات المدمرة التي ضربت في تشرين الأول/أكتوبر 2024 وأودت بأكثر من 230 شخصا قرب فالنسيا.

يحذّر العلماء منذ سنوات من تأثير التغيّر المناخي على الظواهر الجوية المتطرفة، التي باتت أكثر شدة وتكرارا.
