تأهل منتخب المغرب إلى دور الثمانية في كأس العالم للشباب لكرة القدم المقامة في تشيلي بفوزه 3-1 على الولايات المتحدة الأحد بعد مباراة مثيرة.

وافتتح فؤاد الزهواني التسجيل للمغرب في الدقيقة 31، قبل أن يدرك المنتخب الأميركي التعادل في الوقت بدل الضائع للشوط الأول من ركلة جزاء أحرزها كول كامبل.

واستعاد المغرب التقدم في الدقيقة 67 بعدما وضع المدافع جوشوا وايندر الكرة بالخطأ في مرمى فريقه، قبل أن يحسم ياسين جسيم فوز منتخب بلاده قبل ثلاث دقائق على النهاية.

وبلغ المغرب بهذا الفوز قبل النهائي للمرة الثانية في تاريخه بعد نسخة 2005 في هولندا، وسيلتقي الفائز من مواجهة فرنسا والنرويج في المباراة القادمة.
