الأردن يوافق على إنشاء مكتب عالمي إقليمي لليونيسف في عمّان

قرَّر مجلس الوزراء في جلسته التي عقدها اليوم الاحد برئاسة رئيس الوزراء الدكتور جعفر حسان، الموافقة على الإجراءات المتعلقة بإنشاء مكتب عالمي لليونيسف، ومكتب اليونيسف الإقليمي الجديد لمنطقة الشرق الأوسط وشمال افريقيا وأوروبا وآسيا الوسطى في العاصمة عمَّان.

ويأتي القرار في إطار تعزيز التَّعاون مع منظمة اليونيسف وتمكينها من تنفيذ برامجها لدعم الطُّفولة سواءً في المملكة أو الإقليم، كجزء من دور الأردن الداعم للمنظمات الدولية وأعمالها التنموية والإنسانية المختلفة وبما يستثمر في قدرات المملكة في البنية التحتية ومستوى الحضور الدولي والمصداقية السياسية العالية التي يتمتع بها.
