كشف وزير الخارجية الإيراني عباس عراقجي مساء السبت أن بلده تلقى رسالة أبلغته فيها روسيا بأن إسرائيل لا تسعى إلى مواجهة جديدة مع طهران، بعد حرب استمرّت 12 يوما بين البلدين في حزيران/يونيو.

وقال عراقجي "قبل ثلاثة أو أربعة أيّام على ما أعتقد، جرى اتصال هاتفي بين (رئيس الوزراء الإسرائيلي بنيامين) نتانياهو و(الرئيس الروسي فلاديمير) بوتين".

وأضاف "قال نتانياهو إن لا نية لديه لاستئناف الحرب مع إيران"، مشيرا إلى أن هذه الرسالة نقلت في إحاطة مقدّمة للسفير الإيراني في روسيا.
