قال الناطق الإعلامي باسم مديرية الأمن العام إنّ بلاغاً ورد لمديرية شرطة محافظة إربد والبحث الجنائي بقيام شخص مجهول بإشعال النار بإحدى المركبات في مدينة إربد (ما ظهر في فيديو جرى تداوله).

وأكّد الناطق الإعلامي أنّه ومن خلال التحقيقات تم تحديد هوية مضرم النار وأُلقي القبض عليه وبوشرت التحقيقات معه.
