زار قائد القيادة المركزية الأميركية الأدميرال براد كوبر، السبت، قطاع غزة، لمتابعة سير عمل إنشاء مركز تنسيق مدني-عسكري بقيادة القيادة المركزية الأميركية.

وقال كوبر عبر إكس "عدتُ للتو من زيارة داخل غزة لإبلاغكم بكيفية المضي قدمًا لإنشاء مركز تنسيق مدني-عسكري بقيادة القيادة المركزية الأميركية (CENTCOM) والذي سيعمل على مزامنة الأنشطة لدعم الاستقرار بعد انتهاء الصراع"

وتابع، "سيتحقق هذا الجهد الكبير دون وجود أي قوات أميركية على الأرض في غزة".

ويواصل آلاف النازحين في غزة بالعودة إلى مدينة غزة وشمال القطاع بعد دخول وقف إطلاق النار حيز التنفيذ ظهر الجمعة.
