أدى عشرات الآلاف صلاة الجمعة في المسجد الأقصى المبارك-الحرم القدسي الشريف، حيث توافدوا إليه منذ ساعات الصباح في ظل الإجراءات العسكرية المشددة التي تفرضها سلطات الاحتلال الإسرائيلي على الوصول إلى المسجد.

وأفادت وكالة الأنباء الفلسطينية (وفا)، بأن قوات الاحتلال عرقلت وصول الأهالي إلى المسجد الأقصى عبر باب الأسباط والساهرة وباب العامود، من خلال نصب الحواجز الحديدية، كما انتشر الجنود عند سوق الجمعة، وشددت الخناق عليهم، حيث أوقفت الشبان ودققت في بطاقاتهم الشخصية.
