ارتفعت أسعار الذهب الجمعة وتتجه صوب تحقيق ثامن مكاسبها الأسبوعية على التوالي، مستفيدة من الطلب على الملاذ الآمن وسط استمرار حالة عدم اليقين الجيوسياسي والاقتصادي إلى جانب توقعات خفض مجلس الاحتياطي الاتحادي (البنك المركزي الأميركي) أسعار الفائدة.

وزاد الذهب في المعاملات الفورية 0.1% إلى 3977.87 دولار للأوقية (الأونصة) بحلول الساعة 0120 بتوقيت غرينتش. وارتفع المعدن النفيس 2.3% منذ بداية الأسبوع وحتى الآن.

وصعدت العقود الأميركية الآجلة للذهب تسليم كانون الأول 0.5% إلى 3992.40 دولار.
