توج المنتخب الوطني للكرة الطائرة للسيدات بالميدالية الفضية والمركز الثاني لبطولة غرب آسيا بنسختها الثانية.

واختتمت اليوم الخميس البطولة في صالة الأميرة سمية بمدينة الحسين للشباب برعاية سمو الأميرة آية بنت فيصل رئيسة الاتحاد الأردني للكرة الطائرة وذلك بعد الفوز المثير والمستحق الذي حققه على المنتخب العراقي بنتيجة 3-0.

المباراة والتي حضرها نائب رئيس اللجنة الأولمبية الأردنية مستشار سمو رئيسة الاتحاد الأردني للكرة الطائرة والاتحاد جهاد قطيشات ورئيس اتحاد غرب آسيا علي الكواري حظيت بحضور جماهيري كبير استمتع بالأداء الجيد الذي تم تقديمه، وخصوصا المنتخب الوطني الذي فرض قوته على كافة مجريات المباراة وخرج بالفوز المستحق بثلاثة أشواط دون رد بواقع 27-25. 25-18. 27-25، فيما حصل المنتخب اللبناني على اللقب.
