حذر وزير الأمن الوطني الإسرائيلي اليميني المتطرف إيتمار بن غفير الخميس، من أن حزب "القوة اليهودية" الذي ينتمي إليه سيسعى لإسقاط حكومة رئيس الوزراء بنيامين نتنياهو ما لم تفكك حركة حماس في نهاية المطاف.

وقال بن غفير في بيان قبيل اجتماع حكومة نتنياهو للموافقة على خطة وقف إطلاق النار في غزة وإطلاق سراح المحتجزين "إذا لم تُفكك حكومة حماس، أو إذا اكتفوا بالقول إنها مُفكّكة بينما هي في الواقع لا تزال قائمة تحت ستار مختلف، فإن حزب القوة اليهودية سيسقط الحكومة".
