أعلن الرئيس الأميركي دونالد ترامب الخميس بأنه سيحاول التوجه إلى مصر لحضور مراسم التوقيع على اتفاق وقف إطلاق النار في غزة.

وقال في اجتماع حكومي "سأحاول القيام بالزيارة. سنحاول التوجه إلى هناك. نعمل على تحديد الوقت". وأضاف بأن الرهائن الإسرائيليين المحتجزين في قطاع غزة سيتم الإفراج عنهم "الاثنين أو الثلاثاء" مضيفا بأن الاتفاق "أنهى حرب غزة".

من جانبه، أفاد المبعوث الأميركي ستيف ويتكوف الخميس بأن ترامب سيتوجّه إلى مصر الأسبوع المقبل.
