اختار الاتحاد الدولي لكرة القدم "فيفا"، الأمين العام للاتحاد الأردني سمر نصار عضواً في لجنة الاتحادات للدورة المقبلة الممتدة بين عامي 2025 – 2029، تقديراً لخبرتها الإدارية ومسيرتها المتميزة في تطوير اللعبة.

كما قرر "فيفا" تعيين رئيس لجنة الانضباط في الاتحاد الأردني لكرة القدم، هاني الكردي، عضواً في اللجنة القانونية للاتحاد الدولي، والذي تم تسميته مؤخرًا لعضوية لجنة الانضباط في الاتحاد العربي لكرة القدم، لما يمتلكه من كفاءة وخبرة وسجل حافل في مجال القانون والتشريع الرياضي.

ويأتي اختيار الاتحاد الدولي، تأكيداً على الثقة المتزايدة التي يوليها "فيفا" للكوادر الأردنية، في ظل ما تتمتع به من خبرة مهنية، وكفاءة عالية، وقدرة على الإسهام بفاعلية في تطوير منظومة كرة القدم العالمية، ما يعكس المكانة المرموقة التي وصلت إليها الكرة الأردنية على الساحة الدولية.
