حاز الأردني عمر ياغي، الأربعاء، على جائزة نوبل للكيمياء.

وذكرت نوبل، على صفحتها على "إكس"، أن الأكاديمية الملكية السويدية للعلوم قررت منح جائزة نوبل في الكيمياء لعام 2025 لكل من عمر ياغي، وسوسومو كيتاغاوا، وريتشارد روبسون، "لتطويرهم أطرًا معدنية عضوية".

وتُمنح هذه الجائزة، التي يعود تاريخها إلى أكثر من قرن، من قبل الأكاديمية الملكية السويدية للعلوم، ويتقاسم الفائزون بها 11 مليون كرونة سويدية (1.2 مليون دولار أميركي)، بالإضافة إلى اكتساب شهرة واسعة بفوزهم بأعرق جائزة علمية في العالم.
