أحبطت المنطقة العسكرية الجنوبية، الأربعاء، محاولة تهريب كمية من المواد المخدرة بوساطة طائرة مسيّرة (درون) على واجهتها الغربية وضمن منطقة مسؤوليتها، بالتنسيق مع الأجهزة الأمنية وإدارة مكافحة المخدرات،.

وجرى تطبيق قواعد الاشتباك بعد رصدها من قِبل قوات حرس الحدود وإسقاطها داخل الأراضي الأردنية، وتم تحويل المضبوطات للجهات المختصة.
