أعلنت القيادة المركزية الأمريكية أنها نفذت ضربة في سوريا أسفرت عن مقتل مخطط هجمات رفيع المستوى مرتبط بتنظيم القاعدة.

وذكرت القيادة المركزية الأمريكية، في بيان على منصة "إكس"، أن قواتها نفذت ضربة دقيقة في سوريا بتاريخ 2 أكتوبر، أسفرت عن مقتل محمد عبد الوهاب الأحمد، الذي يعد مخطط هجمات رفيع المستوى وعضوا في جماعة أنصار الإسلام، وهي جماعة إرهابية مرتبطة بتنظيم القاعدة.
