قال زعيم كوريا الشمالية كيم جونغ أون إن تحالف بلاده مع روسيا سيواصل النمو، وذلك في رسالة بعث بها إلى الرئيس الروسي فلاديمير بوتين هنأه فيها بعيد ميلاده وأشاد بقيادته.

وقال كيم "لا أشك في أن علاقات التحالف بين البلدين ستمضي قدما في المستقبل بثبات، وذلك بفضل العلاقات الودية الدافئة والروابط الأخوية الوثيقة بيننا".

وفي الرسالة التي نقلتها وكالة الأنباء المركزية الكورية الرسمية، أعاد كيم التأكيد على دعمه "لكفاح (روسيا) العادل" في سبيل السيادة الوطنية، في إشارة على ما يبدو إلى حربها مع أوكرانيا، وتعهد بأن يظل ملتزما بتنفيذ المعاهدة الموقعة بين الزعيمين العام الماضي.
