عملة معدنية تحمل صورة ترامب.. خطوة تُشعل جدلا في واشنطن

أعلن مسؤولون أن وزارة الخزانة الأميركية تنظر في إصدار عملة نقدية معدنية من فئة دولار واحد تحمل صورة الرئيس دونالد ترامب، وذلك بمناسبة الذكرى الـ250 لاستقلال البلاد.

وأعاد وزير الخزانة سكوت بيسنت مشاركة منشور لأمين الخزانة براندون بيتش يتضمن تصاميم أولية لهذه العملة.

ونشر بيتش على منصة إكس مسودات التصاميم الأولية مرفقة بتعليق أنه "يتطلع إلى مشاركة المزيد منها قريبا، بمجرد انتهاء الإغلاق الحكومي الأميركي".

ويُظهر أحد التصاميم صورة لترامب على الوجه الأول للعملة النقدية، بينما يحمل الوجه الثاني صورة أخرى له رافعا قبضته أمام علم أميركي مع عبارة "حارب حارب حارب".

وهذه الصورة أخذت بعد محاولة اغتياله العام الماضي خلال حملته الانتخابية.
