نقل موقع "أكسيوس" عن مسؤول إسرائيلي قوله إن رئيس الوزراء الإسرائيلي بنيامين نتنياهو فوجئ برد الرئيس الأميركي دونالد ترامب.

وأضاف المسؤول أن نتنياهو اعتبر خلال مشاورات أجريت ، قبل إعلان ترامب، أن رد حماس على مقترح الرئيس الأميركي بشأن الحرب على غزة رفضا للخطة.

وكانت حركة حماس سلَّمت ردها على مقترح ترامب بشأن الحرب على القطاع المحاصر للوسطاء.

قال ترامب، إنه "بناء على البيان الصادر عن حماس، أعتقد أنهم مستعدون لسلام دائم"، مضيفًا: "يجب على إسرائيل أن توقف قصف (قطاع) غزة فورا، حتى نتمكن من إخراج المحتجزين بأمان وبسرعة! الآن، من الخطير جدًا القيام بذلك".
