أعلن مكتب رئيس الوزراء الإسرائيلي بنيامين نتانياهو السبت أن إسرائيل تسعى إلى "التنفيذ الفوري" لخطة الرئيس الأميركي دونالد ترامب لإطلاق سراح الرهائن الإسرائيليين في غزة، وذلك بعد إعلان حماس موافقتها على الخطة.

وقال مكتب نتانياهو في بيان "في ضوء رد حماس، تتهيأ إسرائيل للتنفيذ الفوري للمرحلة الأولى من خطة ترامب لإطلاق سراح جميع الرهائن". أضاف "سنواصل العمل بتعاون كامل مع الرئيس وفريقه لإنهاء الحرب وفقا للمبادئ التي حددتها إسرائيل والتي تتوافق مع رؤية الرئيس ترامب".
