أعرب الرئيس الأميركي دونالد ترامب عن شكره لعدد من الدول التي ساهمت في دعم جهود إنهاء الحرب في غزة، مشيرًا إلى قطر وتركيا والسعودية ومصر والأردن وغيرها.

وقال ترامب في تصريح مصوَّر: "هذا يوم عظيم ومميز للغاية، وربما على نحو غير مسبوق من نواحٍ كثيرة"، مضيفًا: "أتطلع بشدة إلى عودة الرهائن إلى ذويهم، ونحن قريبون للغاية من تحقيق السلام في الشرق الأوسط".

وأكد ترامب أن بلاده تلقت "قدرًا هائلًا من الدعم"، مضيفًا أن "الجميع كان موحدًا في الرغبة بإنهاء الحرب ورؤية السلام يتحقق في المنطقة".
