رجحت أربعة مصادر مطلعة أن ترفع ثماني دول من أعضاء تحالف أوبك+ إنتاجها النفطي يوم الأحد، إذ تطالب السعودية، أكبر منتج في التحالف، بزيادة كبيرة لاستعادة الحصة السوقية، بينما تقترح روسيا زيادة أقل حجما.

وخلال السنوات الماضية، اختلف البلدان، وهما أكبر منتجين في أوبك+، في بعض الأحيان بشأن حجم زيادات الإنتاج، لكنهما كانا يتوصلا في النهاية إلى حلول وسط.

وقال مصدران إن موسكو تفضل أن ترفع المجموعة إنتاجها 137 ألف برميل يوميا اعتبارا من نوفمبر تشرين الثاني، وهو نفس مستوى الزيادة في أكتوبر تشرين الأول، لتجنب الضغط على أسعار الخام ولأنها ستواجه صعوبة في رفع الإنتاج بسبب العقوبات.
