قال مسؤول كبير في حركة حماس لشبكة CNN الجمعة إن رد حماس على خطة إدارة ترامب للسلام في غزة "سيأتي قريبا، وذلك بعد التحذير الذي وجهه ترامب للحركة مؤخرا.

ووجّه الرئيس الأمريكي دونالد ترامب الجمعة إنذارا نهائيا لـ"حماس" للرد على خطته للسلام في غزة، قائلا إنه إذا لم توافق الحركة على الاقتراح بحلول الساعة السادسة مساء الأحد بالتوقيت الشرقي لأمريكا (الواحدة صباح الاثنين بتوقيت القدس)، "فسوف يندلع جحيم لم ير أحد مثله من قبل".

وينتظر ترامب منذ الاثنين سماع رد "حماس" على الخطة المكونة من 20 نقطة والتي كشف عنها إلى جانب رئيس الوزراء الإسرائيلي بنيامين نتنياهو في البيت الأبيض.

وصرّح دبلوماسيان حاليان وسابقان لشبكة CNNبأنه من غير المرجح أن تقبل حركة "حماس" اقتراح إدارة ترامب لوقف إطلاق النار في غزة دون تعديلات.
