قال الرئيس الأميركي دونالد ترامب، الجمعة، إنه يجب التوصل إلى اتفاق مع حماس بحلول الساعة 6 مساء الأحد بتوقيت واشنطن (العاشرة بتوقيت غرينتش).

وقال "إذا لم يتم التوصل إلى هذا الاتفاق، وهو فرصة أخيرة، فإن الجحيم سوف ينشب ضد حماس، كما لم يره أحد من قبل".

وتابع "هذه الصفقة ستنقذ أرواح جميع مقاتلي حماس المتبقين.. بالنسبة لحماس هذه فرصة واحدة أخيرة".

وأردف يقول "أطلب من جميع الفلسطينيين الأبرياء مغادرة هذه المنطقة التي يحتمل أن تكون مكانا للموت في المستقبل إلى أجزاء أكثر أمانا في غزة على الفور".
