أدى عشرات آلاف المصلين صلاة الجمعة، في المسجد الأقصى المبارك-الحرم القدسي الشريف، رغم التشديدات والتضييقات التي فرضتها قوات الاحتلال على مداخل بوابات البلدة القديمة والمسجد.

وذكرت دائرة الأوقاف الإسلامية في القدس المحتلة، أن 45 ألف مصل أدوا صلاة الجمعة في المسجد الأقصى المبارك.

وذكرت وسائل إعلام فلسطينية، أن قوات الاحتلال فرضت قيودًا وتشديدات على وصول المصلين إلى الأقصى، من خلال توقيفهم عند مداخل بوابات البلدة القديمة، وعرقلة وصولهم إلى المسجد.

وشهدت بوابات البلدة القديمة والمسجد الأقصى ازدحامًا بالمصلين، بعد منعهم من الوصول للبلدة، وخاصة عند أبواب الأسباط والساهرة والعمود، وأوقفت الشبان عند باب حطة ودققت في هوياتهم ومنعت آخرين من دخول المسجد.
