ارتفعت حصيلة انهيار مدرسة إسلامية في إندونيسيا في مطلع الأسبوع إلى 8 قتلى بعد العثور الجمعة على 3 جثث تحت الأنقاض، على ما أعلن مسؤول في فرق الإغاثة.

وافاد نانانغ سيجيت المسؤول في مكتب البحث والإغاثة في سورابايا أنه تم انتشال جثتي طفلين باكرا صباح الجمعة من تحت الكتل الإسمنتية المنهارة، ثم جثة ثالثة لاحقا، ما يرفع من 5 إلى 8 قتلى الحصيلة الموقتة للكارثة.

وانهار جزء من مدرسة "الخزيني" الإسلامية الداخلية المتعددة الطوابق، في ولاية جاوة الشرقية، فجأة الاثنين أثناء تجمع الطلاب لأداء صلاة العصر.

وعلق 59 شخصا بحسب التعداد الرسمي تحت أنقاض المبنى، فيما قال مسؤولون الخميس أنه لم يعد من الممكن رصد أي مؤشر حياة، ما يبعث مخاوف من حصيلة بشرية فادحة.
