قالت الهيئة الوطنية لإدارة الكوارث في إندونيسيا، إن نحو 91 شخصا لا يزالون عالقين تحت الأنقاض بعد نحو يومين من انهيار مبنى مدرسة إسلامية داخلية في إندونيسيا، بعد مراجعة سجلات الحضور وتقارير عائلات المفقودين.

ووفقا لوكالة الأنباء الأندونيسية (أنتارا)، قال الناطق باسم الهيئة، عبد المهاري، إن أكثر من 300 منقذ بدأوا العمل بشكل مكثف منذ صباح اليوم الأربعاء للبحث عن ناجين، بعدما انهار المبنى فوق مئات الأشخاص، معظمهم فتيان، كانوا يؤدون صلاة العصر يوم الاثنين في قاعة الصلاة بمدرسة "الخزيني" الإسلامية الداخلية بولاية جاوة الشرقية، والتي كانت تخضع لتوسعة غير مرخصة.

وأكدت السلطات في وقت سابق، وفاة ثلاثة طلاب على الأقل، وإصابة 100 بجروح.
